OTIE developed the site design for a 66,550 SF retail store, replacing an existing theatre. OTIE coordinated the preparation of plat of survey for the existing site; proposed site plan showing existing and proposed buildings; proposed utility and grading plan; erosion control plan; proposed landscaping plan; and architectural elevations, dimensional building elevations, dimensioned sign elevations, and floor plan. To expedite schedule and contain costs, OTIE’s design used the existing infrastructure and the parking lot, islands, and curbing as much as possible. |

OTIE performed topographic survey for development of 70 acre commercial plot in Madison, WI. OTIE prepared contour maps; collected utility information; set and recorded property corners; prepared plat in accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes; developed Erosion Control Plan; and secured DNR notification and permits. OTIE developed the bidding documents and solicited bids for construction. Provided stake out and construction oversight for extension of a city roadway into the development. OTIE also developed a Stream Feasibility Report. This report investigated the option of adding an aesthetic stream in the commercial development, including location and alignment, cost estimate, and evaluation of potential liabilities and benefits. |

OTIE participated on the FEMA Rapid Response Team, providing engineering and design, plans, specifications, and construction management for the temporary housing at Carrell Site, Milton, FL. OTIE provided site design for a 50-unit mobile home park to house families displaced by Hurricane Ivan. OTIE adapted preliminary plans for a future residential subdivision, establishing a layout compatible for eventual permanent structures. OTIE design included streets, potable water supply, sanitary sewers, storm water retention, and power and telephone service. |
